The room size was impressive, with a spacious layout and comfy bed. The buffet dinner was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious food. the public onsen was a great way to unwind after a long day of exploring.
The hotel is located on a steep hill, making it difficult to get to without a taxi. the facilities felt outdated and in need of renovation.

The hotel staff was great in helping me with the transportation and providing me with a comfortable Japanese-style room. The room had a stunning ocean view and I enjoyed the 'Welcome tea' in the room. The futon beds on the tatami floor were really comfortable and the yukatas given to wear after baths added to the traditional experience. The buffet dinner with so many food choices and ocean view was really worth it.
Can't fault the property in any way.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms at this place - they were larger than most we stayed in during our trip to Japan. The staff here were very friendly and accommodating, providing us with excellent service throughout our stay. The beautiful views of the surroundings, especially Atami, were a major highlight for us. Additionally, the onsen on the premises was a great way to relax and unwind.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel's location is far and inconvenient, located on a winding mountain path with no surrounding areas to eat or visit. On top of that, the hotel shuttle is not accommodating enough for all guests. the rooms lack basic amenities, such as private showers, body creams, and English-speaking staff. Although the Onsen rooms are relaxing, the poor facilities fail to add to the hotel's overall appeal. the breakfast is mediocre, and the service is subpar, falling short of the hotel's claimed star rating.
The hotel's shuttle service is unreliable, and public transportation is challenging to access, making travel difficult.

Wow! What a truly wonderful weekend stay! I couldn't believe how friendly the staff were! the rooms were a good size and the ocean view was absolutely stunning! I loved wearing the yukatas and vests around the hotel after the onsen - so comfortable! One of the best things was definitely the buffet dinner. the food was amazing and the presentation was on point! You simply can't beat the combination of delicious food and a stunning ocean view. the futon beds were very comfortable and it was really nice to stay in a Japanese style room!
it was a bit frustrating not having any shower facilities in the room.
